TABC STORM Rolls Past Rochelle Zell TIGERS 54–41 Behind Faber and Borgen’s One-Two Punch!
- Updated: October 30, 2025

The Torah Academy of Bergen County STORM came out roaring and never looked back, surging to a 54–41 victory over the Rochelle Zell Jewish High School TIGERS in a game defined by intensity, hustle, and balanced scoring.
The STORM’s dynamic duo of Y. Faber and A. Borgen led the way, combining for 26 points and setting the tone from the opening tip. Faber was a force in the paint, putting up 14 points and grabbing 5 rebounds, while Borgen’s 12 points came on smooth jumpers and quick finishes in transition. Their consistency kept the offense flowing and the pressure squarely on the Tigers.
TABC’s supporting cast stepped up too — S. Haberman and Y. Kahn provided steady scoring, and S. Wenger brought defensive energy that turned stops into points. It was a complete team effort, as nine different players got on the board for the STORM.
For the Tigers, R. Ousley poured in 18 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, doing everything he could to spark a comeback. N. Lifchitz added 13 points and a team-high 6 rebounds, showing heart and hustle throughout. But every time Rochelle Zell made a push, the STORM responded with poise and precision.
In the closing minutes, TABC’s defense clamped down, and the clock ticked away on another strong performance. With this 54–41 win, the STORM continue to look like a serious contender — deep, disciplined, and dangerous when they find their rhythm.
