⚡ Thunder Strikes Hard! JEC Rolls Past RZJHS Tigers 64–30 in Tier II Domination!
- Updated: October 31, 2025

The Jewish Educational Center THUNDER brought the energy, intensity, and plenty of firepower in a commanding 64–30 victory over the Rochelle Zell Jewish High School TIGERS in Tier II action. From the opening tip, JEC unleashed a storm that the Tigers simply couldn’t weather, combining sharpshooting, ball movement, and suffocating defense to seize control and never look back.
It was a full-team performance for JEC, led by B. Dombeck, who dropped 13 points, attacking the basket and sparking early momentum. D. Schreiber followed with 11, knocking down big shots that widened the gap in the second quarter. The Thunder showed off their depth, with Y. Feit (8), A. Strauss (7), and A. Feueberg (5) all making key contributions as JEC’s lead ballooned before halftime.
Defensively, JEC was relentless — forcing turnovers, contesting every shot, and keeping RZJHS’s top scorers under constant pressure. While the Tigers battled hard, led by R. Ousley’s 12 points and L. Shlafrok’s 6, they struggled to find rhythm against JEC’s organized defense and quick transition play.
By the fourth quarter, it was all Thunder. Bench players joined the scoring parade as JEC closed the game with confidence and composure, holding the Tigers to just 30 total points. The win showcased the Thunder’s balance and chemistry — a potent mix that will make them a tough out as Tier II play continues.
With this statement victory, the JEC Thunder have made it clear: when the skies darken, their lightning doesn’t miss.
