CNN Global Hero Award Finalist Rabbi Elimelech Goldberg to Speak on Shabbos At Invitational

After losing his daughter to leukemia, Rabbi Elimelech Goldberg created Kids Kicking Cancer (KKC) to help children battling serious illness discover their inner power through martial arts.
Amongst his other honors, Rabbi G has been awarded the 2004 Robert Wood Johnson Community Health Leaders Award, the nation’s most prestigious honor in community public health, and in the same year he was the recipient of the Humanitarian of the Year Award from the McCarty Cancer Foundation. In 2012 he was selected as a CNN Global Hero and People Magazine’s national “Hero Among Us”.

An orthodox rabbi with a black belt in the Korean art of Choi Kwang Do, Rabbi G keeps his daughter’s memory alive through KKC. Specially trained black belt martial artists teach kids the basics of martial arts, as well as the group’s trademarked “Breath Brake,” where kids use breathing techniques to manage the pain of cancer and its treatment. KKC has received international acclaim for the incredible work it does changing the lives of children.

A-List celebrities including, but not limited to, Demi Moore, Jennifer Aniston, Miley Cyrus, Gerard Butler, Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Josh Hartnett, Jessica Biel, Rosie Perez, and Colin Farrell all work in support of Rabbi G and KKC.

Rabbi G travels the world as an inspirational and motivational speaker.
