Audiences across the spectrum, from students at College of the Holy Cross to U.S. Marines stationed at Okinawa to the rebbes of the Lubavitch Yeshivah in Flatbush find Joel’s comedy smart, witty, and—most importantly—hilarious.

A stand-up comedian and writer with stage and screen credits in eight countries, including the U.S., Israel, Canada, England, Switzerland, Japan, Korea, and Singapore, Joel has been the warm-up act for Jon Stewart and Lewis Black of The Daily Show, and went on a USO Comedy Tour of the Far East entertaining American Marines.

Joel has performed at more than 1,000 comedy clubs, colleges, festivals, and Jewish events across North America, Israel, and Europe. His comedy, both stand-up and written, relies on non-degrading observations about the details of American life and his Jewish upbringing.

Joel’s comedic memoir, 188th Crybaby Brigade, about his year as a combat soldier in the Israeli Army was published by Simon and Schuster.

Joel and his family are currently on a year-long trip around the world and Joel is only back in the US for three days of live shows.
